Miss Andreea has over 12 years of experience supporting children with additional needs, including extensive 1:1 work within school settings.
Over the years, she has worked alongside children, families, schools and support staff and has seen first-hand how important the relationship between a child and their 1:1 can be.
Sometimes a family or school finds a kind, patient and genuinely caring person who connects beautifully with a child, but that person may not yet have the experience, confidence or practical strategies needed to support them effectively throughout the school day.

This is why Miss Andreea developed the 1:1, LSA & Teaching Assistant Training and Support service. The purpose is to help good support staff develop the practical skills, understanding and confidence they need while keeping the individual child at the centre of their support.

Training Built Around Your Child
This is not a generic staff training course. Miss Andreea first gets to know the individual child, their strengths, areas of need, current challenges and the school environment to ensure the support is truly meaningful.

The training is practical and takes place within the child's real school environment. Miss Andreea observes, models strategies directly, allows the 1:1, LSA or TA to practise them and provides feedback and coaching.
The aim is for the member of staff to understand why something may be happening, what to do in the moment, what skills to teach and when to gradually step back to encourage independence.
Working Alongside Existing Support
This service is not an ABA programme and does not replace any therapeutic, clinical or educational intervention or provision already in place. The purpose is to provide practical, individualised training and guidance to the adult supporting the child within school.
Although Miss Andreea's professional experience and knowledge of behaviour support inform the strategies used, the focus is on helping staff understand the individual child and use practical strategies naturally throughout the school day.
Where appropriate, Miss Andreea is happy to work alongside the child's existing professionals and school team to encourage consistency.
